TURNS is a community of performers, founded in 1996 by Gavin Hackett. The name, the logo, the idea, this web address and so on are the property of Gavin Hackett

Over the years, various businesses have used the TURNS name and logo, all with Gavin's blessing and, sometimes, with his direct involvement!

Turns Ltd (a company Gavin founded, but of which he had been neither a shareholder nor a director for several years) has now changed its name to Performance Engagements Ltd. Its new website can be found here.

Email addresses ending turns.net that you may have used in the past will now not work. Please look at the above site for relevant contact details.

It is hoped that the TURNS community will live on, in one way or another. However Performance Engagements Ltd (formerly Turns Ltd) will no longer be arranging flexible working engagements for performers.

Gavin is working hard to find another partner with whom to take the TURNS concept forward; hopefully he will be able to announce something soon, to continue providing services to help performers to help themselves. It is not anticipated that this will include operating as a recruitment agency, however.
